Regis University

Demo Courses

Demonstration courses are offered in several formats, depending upon the course provider and the course delivery format. The providers offer the following demonstration course information.

Heritage University | Mount St. Mary’s University | Neumann University | Regis University | Robert Morris University | Saint Leo University | Seton Hill University | Southern New Hampshire University | University of the Incarnate Word

Heritage University:

Students can view MyHeritage Help Videos by accessing the MyHeritage system and clicking the “Help Desk” tab then choosing the “MyHeritage Help Videos” page in the left side navigation bar. From there, choose anyone of the videos to play by simply clicking on the link. This link will open a small player. Click the play button, to play the video or use the slider bar to fast forward or rewind the video. You can also change it to full screen by pressing the full screen button on the bottom left corner of the player next to the volume.

Videos will play on a 56k modem connection but the faster the internet connection the more satisfactory the experience.

Mount St. Mary’s University:

Orientations for online course are generally provided by the instructor within the individual course Blackboard site.

To access our online live Student Course Demo site for Blackboard, click here: http://msmary.blackboard.com and click “User Login.”

When you are asked to login, use the following:

      Username:  ocicuguest
      Password:   ocicuguest

Neumann University :

All students are enrolled into a “Student Resource” course. Although this course is not mandatory, the course simulates an actual course, which allows students to learn how to maneuver BbVista, as well as properly participate in the credited course.



Regis University:

This course allows potential members of the Online Consortium of Independent Colleges and Universities to take a self-guided tour of a demonstration sampler course created to highlight features of Consortium courses and training for Regis online faculty. Follow the instructions below to access the course.

Robert Morris University:

Welcome to the Robert Morris University Online Orientation/Demo Course. Here, you will find a description of the tools available in a typical course.

EP Demo Course At A Glance


Saint Leo University

Students taking OCICU courses provided by Saint Leo's University for the first time must complete the New Student Orientation Course prior the start of his/her first Saint Leo provided OCICU Course. COMPLETION OF THE NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION COURSE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL 1ST TIME DL STUDENTS. Your home school will provide your WebCT ID and your WebCT password shortly after registration. If you do not have it in time for the course to begin, please email dl@saintleo.edu and request it. Include your full name and social security number.

Access to Saint Leo OCICU courses is normally available the Friday evening before the first day of the course at the following web site: http://saintleo.blackboard.com (IP address 209.133.92.168). If you are unable to log on AFTER the course begins please send an EMAIL to dl@saintleo.edu. Remember, you must have your ID and your password in order to log into the course.


Seton Hill University :

When the Visiting Student registers for his/her online course, SHU e-mail and JWEB accounts will be created. Prior to accessing JWEB or e-mail, the Visiting Student must first review the online student technology orientation guide, Navigating the Hill. The Visiting Student must review the online guide in order to obtain login requirements and his/her username and password for the campus learning management system and campus e-mail.

Seton Hill University utilizes the JWEB learning management system as the delivery platform for all of its online courses. JWEB is accessed from the SHU home page located at http://www.setonhill.edu. Students click the “J” icon located in the upper right corner of the home page to access the JWEB system.

Once a student accesses JWEB, he/she can download the official Student User Manual and access the Online JWEB Student Help tools, located under the Campus Resources portlet on the JWEB homepage. Also available for download is the JWEB Quickstart Outline that provides an overview for using the JWEB system.

If a student experiences any problems or concerns with the JWEB system, he/she should submit a Help Desk request immediately.



Southern New Hampshire University

SNHU Online Virtual Information Session (http://www.snhu.edu/1858.asp): This Virtual Information Session provides a basic understanding, knowledge base and an overview of a typical SNHU Online course.

After following those simple steps, you will have entered Blackboard, our online course delivery system, and can begin on your way by clicking on "Virtual Information Session" located under "My Courses". University of the Incarnate Word:

UIW Universe Online Student Orientation: This online Student Orientation provides a basic understanding, knowledge base and an overview of a typical UIW Online course.
